3MW Direct Drive Technology
The second A3000 prototype was erected just about 15km away from the production facilities of the company, in Nortorf-Poßfeld. At the site also stands a lattice tower equiped with measuring devices, which is necessary for the prototype measurements and wich provides very usefull data about the meteorological conditions at the site.

The wind farm, in addition to Nortorf-Poßfeld I, offers also perfect wind conditions. The terrain is quite even with height differences of only a few meters. The building permissions for two further A3000 turbines have already been achieved. The realization is planned for the third quarter of 2015.
